title : Night of Museums 2011
About a week before my finals I decided to take part in this event. Last year I missed it and this year I didn't wanted. Sooo..after the banquet it was a bit too much but i don't mind it at all. On Friday I woke up at 10 and visited my granny. I had to show her my school leaving certificate. She was very proud of me. (: Then i came home and got ready. I went to Budapest with the bus at 16.10 and I had a meeting at 19.30 on Heroes' Square. I arrived home at 19.05 so i had only 10 mins to leave. Fortunately Heroes' Square is only 10 mins away from our house (on foot). First we visited the Museum of Fine Arts and it's on Heroes' Square or what. When I arrived I was a bit shocked as the queue was extremely long!! I phoned Anna quickly to aks her where she was. She wasn't too far so I joined the queue and then she came. We had to wait 30 mins but finally we got in. First, we had to pay 1400 Ft / about 5€ and then we could visit as many museums as we wanted. After we looked around I took some pics:    We got a blue armband that showed that we'd already paid. We went to Oktogon as Anna was very hungry :D After having a "dinner" she felt much better (: With the help of the underground we went to Moszkva Square. I know it has a new name now, it's called Széll Kálmán Square. In my opinion Moszkva Square was much better and for me it'll always be Moszkva Square..So there we got on a bus that took us to the Castle. I made some pics there as well.    The second destination was the National Gallery. There was a fashion show as well. After 30 mins we checked the Munkácsy exhibition. I arrived home at 1.30 :D I slept till 11 :D |
